We often drive past long orange cones that are places on the road but we never really care about why they are being placed on the road, do we? Well, traffic cones are normally used to alert the drivers that they either need to slow down or they need to detour from a different direction. A lot of road safety organizations and traffic police makes use of traffic cones when they want to divert the traffic to some another street or road. However, with the change of time traffic police now uses different ways of diverting traffic like warning flags.
Unlike traffic cones that merely block the road, warning flags not only block the road but they have certain picture messages on them that the drivers can understand and therefore they are currently the best way in which the traffic police can control and divert the traffic through some another road. Traffic barricade is also commonly used by the police to slow down fast moving vehicles. Traffic barricades are places smartly by the road safety police because they want the drivers to keep their vehicle speed to the minimum. A lot of traffic barricades are also used by the police when they want to seal some exit and entry points for security reasons.
