We often drive past long orange cones that are places on the road but we never really care about why they are being placed on the road, do we? Well, traffic cones are normally used to alert the drivers that they either need to slow down or they need to detour from a different direction. Traffic barricades are places smartly by the road safety police because they want the drivers to keep their vehicle speed to the minimum. A lot of traffic barricades are also used by the police when they want to seal some exit and entry points for security reasons.
